So, you’ve decided that you’re not quite ready for The Simple Shoot yet, but you need a new headshot for your socials?
You’ve come to the right place.
Each month you can find me in a different location around Leicestershire (and occasionally further afield), where I’ll be offering natural light headshots for just £27.
You can use these headshots whatever your needs – business, LinkedIn, performing, or dating profiles.

No-Faff Photos
A natural light setup means that there are no studio lights, no paper backdrops, no faffing around with lighting stands and no worrying about being blinded! It also means your eyes don’t need to adapt to unnatural conditions, and that helps your personality shine through.
Good natural light can be found both indoors and outdoors, and I’ll be selecting locations that I know can offer a wonderful backdrop whatever the conditions.
How it works

Pick your preferred time and date using my online calendar. You can also use this to book a free pre-shoot consultation if you have any queries.

We meet at the agreed location and we’ll shoot at the best spot for your look, for 15 minutes.

You’ll get to see your progress as we go. The great thing about digital photography is that we can review the images instantly, so we can adjust on the fly.

Within 72 hours I’ll send you a gallery of the unprocessed images. You select your favourite/s, which I will then professionally edit and send to you within 72 hours.
If you wish to purchase additional images from the shoot, you can do so at a cost of just £15 per image.
Who can use the service?
This service can be used for anyone with a head.
Can I book more than one slot?
These shoots are designed to ultra-efficient, so if you need more than a quick headshot, contact me first, as The Simple Shoot may well be more suitable for you. Guy’s Headshot Spot is limited to one slot per person, per month, so you are welcome to return in subsequent months.
How many images will I receive?
You’ll receive one professional edited image. If, after viewing your gallery, you decide that you would like to use more than one, you can purchase additional images for £15 each.
I'm nervous about being in front of camera
I totally get it. A lot of people are. The great thing about digital photography is that I can show you the images we go along, and you can decide which poses are working for you and which ones aren’t. I can give you guidance to change the things you want to change, and help you create a set of images that show you off at your best!
Because this is designed to be a quick shoot, you can approach it from one of two mindsets:
1) “I get to try something out and if I don’t like it, at least I haven’t paid for a full shoot, but if I do like it, I can book a longer shoot in the future.”
2) “I hate doing this but it’ll be over quickly and I’ll have that damn LinkedIn headshot I so desperately need.”
If you’re particularly nervous but want THE BEST shots possible, I’d recommend booking two hours of The Simple Shoot. I often find that people that are new to being in front of camera will take a while to relax, and we usually start to get the best images towards the end of the shoot. The Simple Shoot can also include a pre-planning call so that we can get you prepped – both physically and emotionally.
You can always book a free discovery call with me to talk things through. There’s no obligation to go ahead with a shoot if you still don’t feel confident. What do you have to lose?
What if I need to reschedule?
If you find you are unable to make your slot, your booking can be transferred to a future Headshot Spot, or used as credit towards a Simple Shoot booking, as long as 24 hours notice is provided.
All bookings are non-refundable, including no-shows.
